Cankarjada 2019 Festival

Cankarjada is a theatre and music festival with more than 20 years of tradition. It takes place in Vrhnika, the birthplace of the most important Slovenian writer, Ivan Cankar, after whom it is also named. The idea for the visual identity originates from his body of work that describes an incident from his childhood – on the second day of his education the teacher asked him how many oranges is one orange and one orange. Such a simple question seemed offensive to him, so he answered it sarcastically and earned a penalty at the very beginning of the school year.
