The graphic language thus emulates the aesthetics of street graffiti which in many instances also represent a direct critical response to the current social issues by an individual. Identity is designed quite minimalistic, i.e. different socially critical slogans are spelled out over basic information about the festival. Most of the promotional material features handwritten slogans using an orange neon colour (graffiti spray), making most of the material unique. It takes place in Vrhnika, the birthplace of the most important Slovenian writer, Ivan Cankar, after whom it is also named. The idea for the visual identity originates from his body of work that describes an incident from his childhood – on the second day of his education the teacher asked him how many oranges is one orange and one orange. Such a simple question seemed offensive to him, so he answered it sarcastically and earned a penalty at the very beginning of the school year.
